United by Music

The United Way of Hastings & Prince Edward and Tweed & Company are pleased to present United by Music. This first-time show will bring some of North Hastings most renowned musicians together to raise funds for the United Way’s 2023-24 campaign and raise awareness of United Way-funded agencies in North Hastings.

Headlining the show will be award-winning folk artist Abe Drennan, a powerful musician with Bancroft roots, who’s returning to his former town for this special, one-time performance. The show will also feature North Hasting’s own Janet Whiteway, a talented artist also known for her role in Coe Hill Girls, with Aimee O’Connor. Appalachian Celtic, a band that’s a staple of the North Hastings music scene and features the legendary John Foreman. The Shawashkong Ikwe Signers. Who perform Indigenous music and celebrates North Hastings’s strong Algonquin community.

Throughout the evening, guests will have opportunities to learn about how United Way funding helps North Hastings and hear directly from representatives of local funded agencies.
