Food for Thought Trivia Night Fundraiser

Which group has the biggest brains in Bancroft? That will be determined on Friday, Aug. 23 when North Hastings Community Cupboard hosts its first Food For Thought Trivia Night fundraiser at 7 p.m. at the Faraday Community Centre.

Community groups are encouraged to register teams of four or more people for the fun event, with proceeds going to the Cupboard’s ongoing efforts to fight food insecurity in North Hastings.

The Cupboard asks groups that wish to sign up a team to make a donation of $100 or more. They can sign up at www.northastingscommunitycupboard.com and indicate how they’d like to make a donation.

Teams can work together to answer trivia questions, which will cover a range of subjects, from science, to entertainment, to sports and even local trivia. While there, participants can learn more about the Cupboard and what is needed to keep the food bank running smoothly.
