Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke candidate Dan McCarthy says the NDP would look at unemployment insurance and to make sure everyone who deserves to qualify get approved.
He says it’s an important issue in Barry’s Bay, where a lot of the work is seasonal.
McCarthy is running against Liberal candidate Jeff Lehoux, Green candidate Stefan Klietsch, Libertarian candidate Steve Fortin, incumbent Conservative candidate Cheryl Gallant and Independent candidate Hector Clouthier.
