A senior faces impaired driving charges after a RIDE program in Hastings Highlands.
Bancroft OPP said the 75-year-old entered the RIDE program on Peterson Road around 8 p.m. Sunday. Once back at the local detachment, the driver refused to provide a breath sample.
The accused is charged with failure or refusal to comply with a demand and operation while impaired – alcohol.
As per statute, the driver was given a 90 day driving suspension and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.
