The Municipality of Hastings Highlands has announced the launch of Municipal 511 on their website.
Municipal 511 is a map-based road information service designed to enhance communication between the Municipality and the public.
Hastings Highlands is the first municipality within Hastings County to adopt the tool, and CAO David Stewart says they are excited to be able to keep the public up to date regarding the status of municipal roads.
Some information that Municipal 511 will be used to share includes Emergency Road Closures and Repairs…. detours, … information about local events and activities that may impact travel routes … … safety information about conditions that may pose a risk to individuals and Planned Capital Projects.
