A local youth group is fundraising to put on new programs this year.
The Switch Yard team, part of Youth Unlimited Bancroft, is kicking off their Full Steam Ahead fundraising campaign from June 1st to 10th. The campaign aims to raise $20,000 for their youth programming, new programs, and new staffing. They also plan to do renovations like refelting the pool table and resurfacing their deck.
The fundraising campaign will cap off with a barbeque and auction on June 10th at 5:30 PM. It will be held at the Switch Yard, next to North Hastings Children’s Services.
