Wayne Wiggins is looking for four more years on Bancroft Municipal Council.
The announcement was made by the Town on Tuesday afternoon when an unofficial list of candidates was released.
As of Tuesday, Wiggins is the only resident to submit nomination papers to run for council this fall. Wiggins will be running for the Ward 1 Councillor position.
Residents who want to run for either council or mayor have until July 27th to submit their nomination papers before the Municipal Election in October.
