A collision on Highway 62 has taken the life of a Belleville man.
That’s according to Bancroft OPP, which responded to the collision Tuesday afternoon around 3:30. Police say the victim’s car had hit a rock cut between Old Hastings Road and Upper Turriff Road.
Paramedics, police and firefighters all attended the scene. Police say 71-year-old Roger Walsh of Belleville was unresponsive and was later pronounced dead.
The collision is being investigated, while the cause of death is still unknown pending an autopsy report.
