Highway 62 in Bancroft has been closed because of a washout, with no word yet on when it will reopen.
Public Works Manager Perry Kelly says a broken dam has caused the road to be closed near the Eagles Nest Park until further notice.
Kelly says the process of reopening the road will be delayed because of the amount of water coming off the Eagles Nest, and infrastructure near it.
Emergency Crews are on hand to control traffic, and have set up detours on Snow Road, Maxwell Settlement Road, and South Baptiste Lake Road.
