Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke candidate Dan McCarthy says the NDP would restore transfer payments to make sure there is enough funding for facilities like hospitals.
He says Barry’s Bay voters are most concerned about losing their healthcare.
McCarthy is running against Independent candidate Hector Clouthier, Liberal candidate Jeff Lehoux, Green candidate Stefan Klietsch, Libertarian candidate Steve Fortin and incumbent Conservative candidate Cheryl Gallant.
