This Easter long weekend Bancroft OPP, along with OPP across the region, will be patrolling our highways, roadways and communities, making sure that people are complying with seatbelt laws.
The campaign starts tomorrow and runs through until Monday.
Failure to wear a seatbelt caused or was a contributing factor in the deaths of 60 people on OPP-patrolled roads last year.
The fine for not wearing your seatbelt can range from $200 and $1,000, and drivers will also receive two demerit points.
