There are several power outages in the region according to Hydro One.
As of 9 a.m. Sunday, 7,851 people were without power in the area, according to Hydro One. The affected area stretches from Gilmour to Killaloe and is bordered by Maynooth and Weslemkoon. In this particular outage, Hydro One is currently estimating that the power will be back on at 4 p.m.
While the Hydro One storm centre map shows widespread outage in this area, some people on social media are reporting that their power is on at homes in Bancroft, Palmer Rapids and Maynooth.
Hydro One reports that so far 116,000 have had power restored.
