Winter Fun Day in Birds Creek on Saturday

Event Co-ordinator for Hastings Highlands, Amy Doole, says Birds Creek is a great place to be this Saturday as they celebrate Winter Fun Day at Bird’s Creek park.

Doole says they have partnered with North Hastings Children’s Services to host the event.

There’s going to be some snowshoeing, some snow painting, ice chiseling, just all kinds of fun…the skating rink is open all day. We’re going to have a campfire going behind the rink and straw bales set out so you can sit around the fire and warm up, drink your hot chocolate and then get back to the fun.”
