According to Dixie Lee head office, some longtime Dixie Lee employees are set to open a new Dixie Lee in Bancroft in the coming months.
A representative from Dixie Lee head office said they have a location in town but cannot yet announce it.
“We’re coming back really soon. As soon as we can announce the new address we will let you know. And you will see all the familiar faces in the new environment. Brand new equipment and we’re super excited to serve our guests and patrons again.”
According to the representative, Dixie Lee Head Office and EZ Foods Ltd. who ran the Dixie Lee up until September, are currently resolving some matters in court.
The site of the old Dixie Lee has currently been rebranded as Northern Fried Chicken.
