The Bancroft Family Community Health team has opened a Tuesday night clinic for those experiencing illness this season. The clinic is for anyone, with or without a primary care physician. Anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, strep throat, bronchitis pneumonia, ear infection, cold and flu, sinus infection, vomiting or diarrhea can attend the clinic.
The clinic is also for those who are unable to safely monitor their symptoms at home or those at higher risk of severe illness. The family health team says this includes immunocompromised individuals, regardless of their vaccine status.
People are asked to bring a list of medication and a list of medical conditions to their appointment, as well as a valid health card.
The clinic is open Tuesdays from 5-8 p.m. until Dec. 17.
Those attending are asked to wear masks.
