Highway 28 now open, one pedestrian airlifted to hospital as OPP investigate collision

Bancroft OPP say they are continuing to investigate a collision south of Bancroft. 

Shortly before 2 a.m. on June 25, Police say a vehicle/pedestrian collision occurred on Highway 28, near Siddon Lake Place.  

Highway 28 was closed for the investigation but has now re-opened.

Police say the pedestrian involved in the collision has been taken to hospital by air ambulance.

Bancroft OPP say they are continuing to investigate a collision south of Bancroft. 

Shortly before 2 a.m. on June 25, Police say a vehicle/pedestrian collision occurred on Highway 28, near Siddon Lake Place.   

Highway 28 is currently closed from between Lower Faraday Road and Monck Road.  

The detour is Monck Road to Highway 118 or Lower Faraday to Highway 620.  

The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing. 

Highway 28 remains closed in the area.
