A Moncton man has died in a collision on Highway 60.
The Killaloe OPP says it happened at Mink Lake Road near Eganville yesterday around 5 a.m. Police say a pick-up truck hit the guardrails and rolled in the ditch.
27-year old Jeffrey Poirier of Moncton was the only passenger. He was pronounced dead on-scene. The OPP says he wasn’t wearing his seatbelt. The driver, 66-year old Alcide Poirier of Killaloe, Haggarty and Richards, was treated for non-life threatening injuries in-hospital.
The road re-opened around noon after being closed for seven hours. An investigation is ongoing.
