More than 30 floats were in Bancroft’s Santa Claus parade on Saturday, and a few have been awarded for their creativity.
The Bancroft Jets won best community group float. In second was the float from York River Public School and third went to the Bancroft Fire Department.
The top commercial float went to Sharett Construction. Second went to The Muse Gallery and Café and third went to Levesque Bros.
Members of the Bancroft Lions Club, which hosts the annual event, vote on the winners.
