A rainfall warning has been issued for the Bancroft area.
Environment Canada warns of showers and thunderstorms beginning this morning or early this afternoon with 30mm to 50mm of rain expected today.
Environment Canada also cautions of heavy downpours that could cause flash flood and pooling of water on roads. They also advise to watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts and that localized flooding is possible in low-lying areas is possible.
