Bancroft OPP have charged a man after a call about bail violation.
According to police, officers were called to a home on Bridge Street East where the man wasn’t allowed to be. When police arrived, they were told that the man had taken off on foot moments earlier.
A short time later, police say they found the man and arrested him. As a result, a 40-year-old Bancroft man has been charged with two counts of failing to comply.
The man will appear in a Belleville court.
