There are still more than 1,000 Hydro One customers out of power, according to the Hydro One website. Estimated restoration is 4 pm today.
Hydro One has begun restoring power to customers across North Hastings.
That’s according to Hydro One, which says the outage happened around 3:30 yesterday afternoon during a thunderstorm that hit the region. Customers as far south as Apsley up to Lake St. Peter and Maple Leaf were without power until nearly 6:00pm, as well as customers scattered around the area.
Customers in the Bancroft area could still be without power for a good part of the day, with restoration expected around 4:00pm.
Hydro One says the storm left about 45,000 customers across Ontario without power.
