The Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan Fire Department is considering reissuing fire permits this week.
According to Fire Chief Jordan Genrick, a level one burn ban was placed in effect in early May because of the risk of grass fires because the area was so dry. Genrick says with recent rainfall, it’s possible permits could be issued again early this week.
However, when looking at the long-term forecast, he says there isn’t any rain predicted between June 7th and 15th so it may not be long before the fire department stops issuing them again, if at all.
