Madawaska Valley CAO hitting the ground running in new role

One week into her new position as Chief Administrative Officer for Madawaska Valley, Sue Klatt isn’t wasting any time.

With lots on her plate to start, Klatt says the first order of business is getting the municipal budget done.

The township will host budget workshops on June 5^th, 6^th, and 7^th before presenting the final budget to the public.

Klatt is the third CAO for the township in the last 16 months. However she has worked with the municipality in the past in a number of roles, which she thinks will help her as CAO.

Klatt says another main focus for her in the role will be handling the municipal election and nomination papers before residents go to the polls in October.
