With summer months coming, it’s important to make sure that your children know how to swim.
That’s the message from Madawaska Valley Mayor Kim Love who says with so many bodies of water around the area, it’s important for kids to learn to swim at a young age.
This comes as registration opened for swim lessons in both Barry’s Bay and Combermere for children. Love say it provides an opportunity for them to build friendships as well.
Swimming lessons in Madawaska Valley run from early July until mid-August, with costs varying for residents and non-residents. You can fill out a registration form by clicking here.
