The future of the public boat launch on Clark Lake will once again be discussed by Bancroft Council.
During its meeting on Tuesday, council is expected to decide whether or not it will block off the boat launch to all vessels. The town says the issue is being discussed to protect the lake, and Bancroft’s water treatment plant, from invasive species like zebra mussels.

A motion to block off the public boat launch was deferred at a special council meeting on March 28th. Seven people spoke out or sent letters opposing the move, while three expressed support for it.
