Bancroft OPP has charged a total of seven people after drug busts at two homes in North Hastings.
They both happened last Wednesday. Officers searched a home in Hastings Highlands and seized cocaine, marijuana, pills, cash, and drug trafficking equipment. Three people accused of being involved have been charged, and a fourth was a pulled over later that evening. Two Hastings Highlands women, a 24-year-old and 40-year-old, along with a 21-year-old Pickering woman and 22-year-old Scarborough man now face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
In a separate investigation, police searched a home in Bancroft, and seized cocaine, marijuana, cash, and drug trafficking equipment. Three people have now been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. A man and woman, both 33 years old from Bancroft, and a 22-year-old Scarborough man are the accused in this case.
